- Clean your entryway and front porch
This will be the first thing your guests see. It’s a great and easy way to make a good first impression.
- How does it pass the smell test
Light some candles, wax melters, or whatever you use to clear the air in your home, making your guests feel comfortable and at home.
- Make sure your kitchen is clean
- Take out the trash
- Wash litter boxes or cages
- Vacuum carpet
- Make sure your guests have a clean bathroom!
First things first, EXTRA TOILET PAPER, it’s always a good idea to make sure your guests’ bathroom is fully stocked with any toiletries they may need. Put towels and wash rags on display and maybe throw in a wax melter or candle.
- Stock the Kitchen
It’s a general good idea to make sure if you’re hosting guests for the big holidays that there is enough food in the house. Making the meals for groups of people is a HUGE task, but keeping the kitchen stocked can make it easier for you and your guests.
Making sure you and your guests are comfortable and well fed, but don’t forget about your own comfort in the process.
