Some parts of the Ohio 250 celebration aren’t tied to a single date — they’re ongoing experiences you can explore throughout the year.
Butler County Time Travel Trail
Ongoing | Butler County
A self-guided trail featuring more than 40 historic sites across the county. Visitors can check in at locations along the way and explore local history through themes like aviation, industry, and community development.
Greene County Heritage Trail
April – September | Greene County
An interactive trail that takes you through multiple communities, with stops highlighting local history, landmarks, and cultural sites. Participants can complete challenges and earn a commemorative coin.
American Discovery 250 Relay
July – November | Nationwide (passes through Ohio)
A long-distance relay event celebrating 250 years of history, connecting communities across the country through outdoor exploration and shared experiences.
