We’ve compiled a range of Memorial Day events happening in and around the Dayton area, ensuring that you don’t miss out on any of the tributes, parades, ceremonies, and family-friendly activities taking place this Memorial Day.
2ND ANNUAL MILITARY HISTORY MUSTER
Miami Valley Military History Museum (506 E. Xenia Dr.)
May 27 & 28 | 9am – 5pm
Participants honoring our Armed Forces from 1775 to the present will be at the 2nd annual Military History Muster. There’ll be re-enactors from all eras along with a wealth of military equipment and vehicles.

BEAVERCREEK MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY

Join the City of Beavercreek this Memorial Day, May 29, for a special in-person ceremony to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
CENTERVILLE MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY
Stubbs Park (255 W. Spring Valley Rd.)

In commemoration of Memorial Day, the City of Centerville is honoring those who died in service to our country with a ceremony saluting the men and women who have helped protect and preserve our freedom.

DAYTON HERITAGE FESTIVAL AT CARILLON PARK
Carillon Historical Park (1000 Carillon Blvd.)

Held on Memorial Day weekend, Heritage Day at Carillon Historical Park celebrates Dayton’s unparalleled history through special activities, costumed interpreters, and more.
Village of Enon (363 E Main St.)

Enon Memorial Day Parade hosted by Enon VFW – starts at Greenon Schools and ends at the Enon Cemetery.
City of Franklin (Starting on South Main)
May 29 | 10am
The City of Franklin traditional Memorial Day Parade. The Parade will begin at run along South Main, ending at 3rd and Main where a brief ceremony will conclude the events of the morning.
HUBER HEIGHTS MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY
Thomas A. Cloud Park (4707 Brandt Pike)

The Huber Heights Military and Veterans Commission invites the community to join them in the city’s Memorial Day Ceremony.
City of Lebanon (Starting on Broadway)
May 29 | 11am
Parade will travel north on Broadway, turn left to travel west on Silver Street and finish at the entrance of the Lebanon Cemetery.
The 5K is hosted to also honor local runner Art Kitze.
