Parkinson’s Puzzle Hunt

Solving puzzles is great for brain health for people of all ages, and that goes double for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Gather a small team to exercise your brain as you walk around Yellow Springs solving puzzles suitable for all ages. 2025 Dayton Blessing of the Bikes

The annual Dayton Blessing of the Bikes event, held in May, provides an opportunity for all motorcycle riders to have their bikes blessed for a safe riding season. This event provides an opportunity for camaraderie and friendship in order to promote a positive image of motorcycling to the community at large. This annual event is dedicated to all Veterans. Bicyclists are welcome!

Teddy Bear Brunch in the Park

Celebrate spring with a Teddy Bear Brunch! Spread out on the Smith House lawn at Bill Yeck Park to enjoy brunch in the fresh spring air with your family and your stuffed friends! The Teddy Bear Brunch will include themed activities, including crafts, games, and a scavenger hunt. No pets, please.
Build-A-Boat
May 4 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Centerville
Participants will assemble their hand-held boats using only natural materials (some provided, some found); some bark here, some twine there, and some mud to fill in the gaps. Once done, participants will unleash their boats in the creek to see which boat makes it to the end! We will finish the program with some classic creaking and hiking! Wear your creek shoes! Registration deadline: Wednesday, April 30.
The PET Gala: The Art of Community

Movie Party in the Park: Night at the Museum

The evening will kick off with games, activities, and fun reminiscent of the various exhibits featured in the film. For a late dinner or dessert, our wonderful community food trucks, Claybourne Grille, and Kona Ice, will be pleased to serve you. At sunset, we will gather around the big screen for the film. This event is possible thanks to a generous sponsorship from Dayton Children’s Hospital. Rain date: Saturday, May 17.
Vandalia Sweet Treats Fest

The Great Paint Escape Spring 2025

Allie Trangenstein is a passionate art educator and a proud graduate of the University of Dayton, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. During her time at UD, she played a key role in organizing the Senior Art Show and gained hands-on experience working in the university’s gallery. After student teaching at West Carrollton High School, Allie officially joined the district as an art teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Allie is thrilled to be part of this upcoming event and can’t wait to paint with everyone!

The Flying Pig Marathon is a Cincinnati Marathon, Inc. event. The Flying Pig Marathon is named after the Bicentennial Commons, which symbolizes the city’s past. The event features a 26.2-mile road race, half marathon relays, a 10k race, a 5k race, and a kids’ fun run called the Flying Piglet.
